"Girl Meets World" Season 3 has been officially cancelled on Disney Channel. While many were disheartened by the network's decision to end the "Boy Meets World" sequel after three season, many still remain optimistic that the show can still continue in another network. Which networks can the show possibly continue on?

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 will, unfortunately, serve as the series finale of the teenage drama led by Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter. The show will cap off its run on air with an episode titled "Girl Meets Goodbye;" that is unless another network decides to pick up the show and renew it for Season 4.

As Carter Matt notes in its report, "GMW" Season 3 has a loyal fanbase and other networks may benefit from the show's audience. While there were earlier rumors that the show may move to Freeform (since "Boy Meets World" aired on ABC before), the publication states that this network is owned by the same parent company as Disney Channel.

Netflix, therefore, would be the best option for "Girl Meets World" Season 4 to happen, as the show's previous seasons are already being streamed on their site. The publication also notes that the online streaming service may benefit from the show's target audience.

Meanwhile, many were shocked to hear that "Girl Meets World" Season 3 has been cancelled on Disney Channel. While the network did not state any reasons behind the cancellation, Forbes notes that the viewership for the third season experienced a drop.

According to the publication, "Girl Meets World" premiered with 5.6 million viewers. However, in its third season, the show only received an average of 1.5 million viewers, which may be one of the network's reasons for ending the show.
