Both the 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro are Apple's most powerful tablets to date that have been proven to be very successful. Though they are considered to be among the best tablets, they are already due for an upgrade this 2017. Apple will apparently unveil three new iPads including the iPad Pro 2 within the next few months.
According to reputable analysts' predictions, Apple will allegedly release a standard 9.7-inch model, another 12.9-inch variant and a new 10.5-inch version, although some, like those from Barclays Research, believe that the third variant of the iPad Pro 2 would have a 10.9-inch screen instead.
The new tablet would possibly have an overhauled design no bezels and no home button on the front that would seemingly resemble the same design of iPhone 8, the highly anticipated Apple's halo device for 2017, INQUISITR reported.
Furthermore, iPad Pro 2 may be possibly equipped with robust internals such as Apple's A10x processor, a 4GB RAM, an iOS 10 OS and more. In addition, it will allegedly have different features like a fingerprint scanner which is built right into the screen, a Force Touch or 3D Touch and True Tone displays.
As per PC ADVISOR, Apple will include faster display technology for a smoother panning, scrolling and zooming. Other than that, the tech giant is allegedly working on adding better support into the Apple Pencil's iOS. It is said that though the improvements are unclear, the Apple Pencil might be possibly used to put notes on more stock apps like Safari.
Though there isn't still an official announcement on when the iPad Pro 2 will be released, reports say that it might be launched sometime in summer 2017, considering that its predecessor was launched in March 2016.
The said tablet might emerge as 2017's most desirable one but the only thing that would greatly hinder customers purchasing these sleek and powerful devices would be its price. Note that $599 was the starting price for the original 9.7-inch iPad Pro while it was $799 for the 12.9-inch variant.
