Hyundai revealed a number of futuristic gadgets at the CES 2017. Several products were based on earlier prototypes, which include a low-cost self-driving car, a variety of robot exoskeletons and an electric Ioniq Scooter. However, the South Korean automaker also showed off something that wasn't actually present at the event. The new tech based on Mobility Vision Smart House very well reduces the owners' efforts in going from their futuristic house to their future self-driving car.

Hyundai's Mobile Vision smart house is a futuristic concept and aims to remove the difference between private, living and driving space. The concept shows the autonomous car docking with the owners' smart home and becomes an indistinguishable part of the living room.

The futuristic car has a number of other functions as well. It can act as an air conditioner, an emergency generator and is also capable of playing media on the home's screens and speakers. If the user wishes to go out, all they have to do is sit in the car "lounge" and it will drive away autonomously. The idea may sound a bit too fancy currently but based on the pace at which the tech is advancing, the concept may not just be an idea for long.

At a CES 2017 press conference, Hyundai's vice president of corporate planning Mike O'Brien stated that the company's aim is to combine the separate elements of a house, including a car, into one single space. Hyundai showed off in a demonstration video, an owner sitting on a chair, with their car "docked" to the other side of the house. On a single command from the owner, the chair carries them inside the docked vehicle, which drives autonomously towards the destination. O'Brien added that the new tech would be a game changer in the travelling field. The passengers will have a home like comfort and won't even feel the car to be moving.

Hyundai also unveiled another futuristic product, the Ioniq Scooter, at the CES 2017. The scooter is a way of transportation in the future surroundings. It is meant to make the "last mile" travel easy for the user, especially when they're from their home to their nearest station. - say, from a train station to one's home or from a parking garage to your office. The scooter can be stored inside the front door of the self-driving futuristic Hyundai Ioniq Electric Vehicle so that it's always easily available.

Hyundai's futuristic scooter charges automatically from the EV when it's stowed away, and also features built-in lights for safety. The Ioniq Scooter has a sensor that prevents it from accelerating until the user has safely boarded the seat. There's a thumb pad which acts as an accelerator and a brake.
