"Girl Meets World" Season 4 announcement has long been awaited by fans all over the world. Writers of the show have been waiting an official call from the Disney management whether there will be a next season or it will be cancelled. Finally, it was told. There will be no new season for 'Girl Meets World' in Disney.

Girl Meets World Cancelled. Down with the last three episodes, this season is expected to resolve all the issues in the said show. On its premiere episode this January, an hour-long tribute to the show and the audience will be shown. This is the time when the cast and the staff shows their appreciation for the fans who continued to support them for the past years.

Girl Meets World Season 3 Finale. Riley Matthews' journey to adolescence is now cut short as it will not be returning for a fourth season. In their Twitter account, writers of the show said: "It is with incredible pride in our work and utter sadness that things end, that I tell you that our show is now over. I just got the call earlier and I am happy for the audience's love and loyalty. Please watch our January episodes. We leave you with three episodes we are truly proud of. We gave you our best."

The news is definitely a disappointing decision for the loyal fanbase of the show. The said cancellation is truly unexpected. Farewells were long posted on social media by some of the cast after they filmed the season 3 finale, which turns out to be the series finale. Rider Strong, playing Cory's friend Shawn Hunter, had actually suggested earlier this month that the show had finally been cancelled. After this, Rowan Blanchard and other characters of the show expressed their sadness and disappointment about the decision.

Girl Meets World comes back for their final three episodes today in an hour-long special. Everyone will be making an appearance in the finale and the entire cast of "Boy Meets World" will be there to help Riley make a decision at the end of the series finale. Here is a reaction of one fan about the news:
