Fans of the "Resident Evil" franchise can look forward to crisper visuals and a more detailed look at all the blood and gore in "Resident Evil 7," Capcom's upcoming game. It has recently been confirmed that the game will run at 1080p and 60FPS.

During an interview with GamingBolt, Masachika Kawata, "Resident Evil 7's" producer, has confirmed that the title "will run at 60FPS and 1080p" for both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One. The game's producer also shared that the Xbox One Scorpio, PS4 and PS4 Pro will all have HDR support for "Resident Evil 7."

Kawata also talked about the newer consoles, and he believes that like with other new hardware introduced to consumers, Sony and Microsoft must work hard to earn a loyal fanbase for the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One S, respectively.

The director also said, "When it comes to new hardware, I think that the biggest takeaway is just making sure that it's not just one party that is excited about this product." Kawata concluded,"It really has to be a mutual interest on both the manufactures side, publisher side, [and] consumer side."

In other news, while "Resident Evil 7" is yet to be released later this month on Jan. 24, eager data miners have already discovered interesting information about the upcoming survival horror video game. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, hackers explored files from the game's Steam demo and revealed a potential returning character and plans for upcoming downloadable content (DLC.)

Based on the data from NeoGaf that is making rounds online, a character named Albert could show up in "Resident Evil 7." Eager fans of the franchise have started hoping that this could point to Albert Wesker eventually showing up in the latest game in the "Resident Evil" franchise. The files that allegedly point to Wesker's return includes: HandGun_Albert_Reward, Shotgun_Albert, WeaponHandgunAlbertAppend, LastBossFinishGetGun, LastBossGetAlbert, AlbertInteract, AlbertGet, AlbertWeapon, AlbertDamageCount and isDamagedByAlbert.

However, despite the data mined info that suggest Albert Wesker's appearance in "Resident Evil 7," fans are advised to take this information with a grain of salt until Capcom either confirms or denies the rumors. "Resident Evil 7" is slated for a Jan. 24 release for the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One.
