Although almost all indie RPG games don't have the best graphics and shorter gameplay, a lot of game enthusiasts are always eager for a new release. Apparently, many indie fans have already been waiting for "Omori."

The game kickstarted in 2014. However, it seemed to have gone in time, especially when the purported release last 2015 did not happen. Nonetheless, this new trailer may say otherwise.

PC Gamer reported that Omocat, developer of "Omori," has claimed that they have "gotten a lot done" last 2016. The addition of the trailer may indicate that the game is being developed and may be released pretty soon. However, the date as to when that still remains a mystery.

Reportedly, one of the reasons why the game was delayed was due to the game engine being updated to RPG Maker MV. The update has apparently broken a lot of the plug-ins they have created and that they have to remake.

The 2017 game trailer of "Omori" teases the story and the gameplay more, compared to a demo gameplay that was released before. The video shows a young boy named Omori in a white room. He goes out and sees three other kids who will be a part of his journey.

According to the official site, the game is a psychological horror game. Players will have to control Omori and travel between two worlds; both welcoming but filled with secrets. Players may have to choose which world is the real one.

Indie RPG games have a reputation for being more than what they look. Indie horror games made from RPG Maker such as "Ib" became massive online. "Ib" was created by a Japanese artist named Kouri and was released last 2012.

As of now, fans can only wait for more updates about "Omori." Their official site can give fans a more in-depth look at the game and until a more definite release date in announced.
