Samsung fans are getting ready for the next Samsung flagship phone: the Samsung Galaxy S8. Its predecessors were welcomed with open arms and are among the most popular phones now. However, it seems fans are more eager for Galaxy S8, especially since its expected to feature an 8GB RAM. The said phone is likley to be released by April 2017.

According to My Smart Price, Samsung will be releasing two variants. There will be the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. Reports also claim that the RAM will be bigger and the storage chip faster.

The information has been leaked by a well-known Samsung tipster from Weibo. Ice Universe is apparently accurate on their previous tips about the Samsung devices. Still, enthusiasts should take the report with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, it appears that enthusiasts will be expecting an 8GB RAM for the new Galaxy S8.

Phone Arena also noted that along with the increased RAM, Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a UFS 2.1 storage chip. Previously, reports were circulating that the smartphone will have a 6GB RAM and an up to 256GB of internal storage via a microSD card.

As for the display, it is believed that Galaxy S8 will have a 5.1-inch curved display. On the other hand, Galaxy S8 Plus is said to feature a 6-inch curved screen.

There are also reports that speculate Samsung Galaxy S8 may only have a rear camera. Galaxy S8 Plus will be the one that will feature a dual camera with one in front and the other on the back. The device will then have Android 7.0 Nougat with the Samsung Interface topping it. Enthusiasts are also predicting that Samsung will use their own AI digital assistant on the phone. This is said to rival Apple's Siri and Google's Assistant.

Again, nothing solid is announced officially. For now, such claims should only be taken lightly.
