For the span of Xbox Store's Countdown Sale, Gold members are given extra 10 percent discount on all deals.
In addition, Gold members have the exclusive privilege of unlocking free game titles every month. If computed, the sum total of free games that they can have is about $700 and this is a lot of savings for avid gamers.
