The record breaking introduction to IOS of the iconic Nintendo Game, Super Mario Run, is sad to have increased the possibility that Nintendo may take more of its popular video games in the IOS platform.
Super Mario Run Go has just reached a milestone that no other IOS games has ever achieved, including Pokemon Go, by reaching 40 million downloads in just four days. This milestone increased the rumbling in the gaming community for Nintendo to release some of its popular games in IOS.
However, even before the rumbling gets louder, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has already stopped the rumor in a recent interview.
Miyamoto's recent pronouncement does not however mean that gamers will not be able to play Nintendo games in IOS.
Mobile app developer, Riley Testut, famous for developing the GBA4IOS will release an app called Delta which will allow gamers to emulate Nintendo games in their IOS devices. Testut's GBA4IOS is considered as one of the best and more capable Game Boy emulators made for mobile devices.
The GBA4IOS was however shutdown by Apple in 2014 by closing the date-trick loop which allowed IOS mobile device owners to directly download the app and bypass Apple's app store.
Testut's Nintedo game emulator, Delta, will be made available for download in 2017. The ambitious sequel to GBA4IOS will allow IOS device users to emulate not only Game Boy and Game Boy advance but also Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64.
Testut, in a blog post, said that the consoles announced to be available for the Delta are just the initial offering of the emulator and that he is still working on making more consoles available for future updates.
With Nintedo's announcement that the speculations for more Nintendo games arriving in IOS are nothing but mere rumors, Delta offers avid Nintendo game fans an excellent alternative to be able to play their favorite games in their Apple devices.
