In the Pre-CES 2016 event in January earlier this year, Samsung, the South Korean company, announced their new product, the Samsung Notebook 9. Samsung claimed that Notebook 9 will be the lightest laptop ever launched in the market with 13, 3/ 15-inch variant and weight around 810 grams.

The 13, 3-inch variant will have both options of Core i5/ Core i7 processors and that also includes faster storage and memory. The 15-inch variant will be shipped with the Core i7 processor only.

Both of the 13, 3 and 15-inch variant have been further updated with a fingerprint scanner for security protection. In addition, the Notebook 9 supports the Windows Hello, a program that allows the users for secure sign in with only a single touch without typing the password.

According to NDTV, Samsung Notebook 9 will have a thin bezel edge-to-edge design and full-HD display that reclines up to 180 degrees to make it easier for users sharing presentations with their coworkers.

The display on the Samsung Notebook 9 has the high dynamic range (HDR) support. It is also completed with connectivity features that allow users to share files, messages and photos.

The usual USB ports are present and include two USB 3.0 ports and a single USB type-C port for faster charging (fully charge in 80 minutes), HDMI and MicroSD slot, as reported by The Verge.

There's no official announcement from Samsung about the price and availability of Samsung Notebook 9 up until now. More information will be added later on the mid-months of 2017.
