A new gameplay footage for the anticipated horror title from developer Gun Media, dubbed "Friday The 13th: The Game," has recently been released. Some fans, however, might not exactly get excited with the latest clip for the game.
The reason being is that, the video, which was posted as an IGN First on YouTube, only focuses on the multiplayer aspect of "Friday The 13th: The Game" and not the much awaited single player mode. It does, fortunately, feature some of the important aspects that fans must do when they are playing with each other.
What players must do to survive the wrath of Jason Voorhees in "Friday The 13th: The Game"
As somehow apparent in the clip, the main highlight of the multiplayer gameplay clip from IGN is the communication between all the players in the party. By the looks of it, seems like this is the key to survive in "Friday The 13th: The Game," aside from avoiding Jason Voorhees at all cost.
They will have to coordinate their location on the map called Higgins Haven, which is quite larger according to the report from GameRant.
The main objective of the game is basically escape Higgins Haven by all means. In fact, players can even leave behind a party member that have been caught by Jason to save everyone else in the group, as can be seen in the last part of the video before their escape.
"Friday The 13th: The Game" single player and release date
Unfortunately, despite the good and exciting news, Gun Media has yet to reveal any significant update regarding the single player of "Friday The 13th: The Game." They did, however, delay its launch to give way for the feature and to add the most requested character, Tommy Jarvis, into the mix, Polygon reported last October.
There is still no specific launch date for "Friday The 13th: The Game" but many believe it would come out sometime early next year.
