The Xiaomi Redmi Note3, Lenovo K5 Note, and Google Pixel stand different points in the smartphone market in terms of price and specifications.

Starting with the design and display, the lesser priced duo feature a huge 5.5" display, while the Pixel features a smaller 5.0" display. All three have similar resolutions of 1080 x 1920.

The Google Pixel comes with splash and dust resistant AMOLED display. On the other hand, Note 3 and K5 Note have IPS LCD display. However, only the Google phone has Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

In terms of performance, the Google Pixel leads with quad core 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 821 processor. While Xiaomi Note 3 features a hexa core Snapdragon 650 processor clocking at 1.8GHz, the Lenovo K5 Note comes only with octa core MediaTek processor clocking at 1.8 gHz.

We don't need to shred extra money for more storage in Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo K5 Note, which comes with microSD slot up to 256 GB. While, Google Pixel has various options of in built storage like 32 GB and 128 GB coupled with 4GB RAM.

The Redmi device comes in two versions of 16GB-2GB RAM and 32 GB-3GB RAM models. Lenovo K5 Note also has two variant with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.

In terms of battery, the Redmi Note 3 has the biggest battery with 4050 mAH than Google Pixel's 2770 mAH battery and Lenovo K5 Note's 3500 mAH battery. Still, only the Pixel has a fast charging option.

In terms of camera, Redmi Note 3 have a 16 MP (1080p) rear camera a 5MP primary camera whereas Lenovo K5 Note has 13 MP front and 8MP rear camera. Both have dual-LED flash.

Though Goole Pixel has lesser mega pixel with a 12.3 MP rear camera but it comes with more technology like dual-LED (dual tone) flash, EIS (gyro) and a 8MP front snapper. Additionally, the trio has got the fingerprint sensors on them.

While the software on Redmi Note 3 runs on Android 5.1.1 based MIUI 8, K5 Note uses Android 5.1 (Lollipop). As expected, Google Pixel comes latest Android 7.1 (Nougat).

In the end, the Goole Pixel fares way ahead in all features, but remains price heavy at Rs.57000. If people want a better battery life with a similar 5.5" screen, then the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a much better option at an affordable cost of Rs.11999.
