Xiaomi Redmi Note3, Galaxy J7 Prime and Oppo F1s vary in price and specifications. Though, we will compare the core specifications to draw some conclusion for the one who are stuck with choosing among these three devices.
Starting with the design and display, the trio features a huge 5.5" display varying in resolution. Oppo F1s comes with lower resolution of 720 x 1280, while Redmi Note 3 and Galaxy J7 Prime have similar (1080 X 1920) screen resolution.
Though we can easily distinguish between the quality as J7 comes with TFT capacitive screen protected with Gorilla Glass. On the other hand, Redmi Note 3 and Oppo F1s have IPS LCD display. However, only Oppo F1s have Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
In terms of performance, Galaxy J7 Prime do well with octa core 1.6 GHz Exynos 7870 processor. While Xiaomi Note 3 features a hexa core Snapdragon 650 processor clocking at 1.8GHz, Oppo F1s comes only with octa core MediaTek processor clocking at 1.5 gHz.
We don't need to shred extra money for more storage in Redmi Note 3, Oppo F1s and Galaxy J7 Prime which come with microSD slot up to 256 GB.
Redmi comes in two versions of 16GB-2GB RAM and 32 GB-3GB RAM models. Oppo F1s has only one variant with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage while, J7 Prime comes with 3GB RAM and 16/32 GB in-built storage.
In terms of battery, theoretically Redmi Note 3 has a bigger battery with 4050 mAH than Galaxy J7 Prime's 3300 mAH battery and Oppo F1s's 3075 mAH battery.
The photography round has a few ups and downs. Galaxy J7 Prime features a 13 MP (1080p) rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front snapper.
Contrastingly, Redmi Note 3 have a 16 MP (1080p) rear camera with dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a 5MP primary camera.
The only reason to buy Oppo F1s over others in this comparison can be the love for selfies due to the stunning 16 MP front facing selfie camera in F1s. Unlikely, it comes with only 13 MP (1080p) camera with LED flash at the back. Additionally, the trio has got the fingerprint sensors on them.
While the software on Redmi Note 3 runs on Android 5.1.1 based MIUI 8, Oppo F1s uses a tweaked version of Android 5.1 called Color OS 3.0. As expected, Galaxy J7 Prime comes with its own version of Android 6.0.
Summing up, Galaxy J7 Prime, Redmi Note 3 and Oppo F1s are giving neck to neck competition. However the only difference arise in the pricing where Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at Rs.18790 while, Note 3 is a much better option at an affordable cost of Rs.11999. The only reason to shred more money for F1S (Priced at Rs.17990) over Note 3 is the selfie camera.
