Many have started thinking that Apple has stopped releasing innovative specs. However, the company is apparently still in top shape as its iPhone 7 is doing well in the market. Here is a comparison between the current Apple flagship and its predecessor, the iPhone 6s.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plu were introduced this September with the same 4.7 in and 5.5 in screen sizes as before.
The iPhone 7's only noticeable features are repositioned antenna bands, the altered camera layouts and with a surprise, no headphone jack. It comes with Ear-Pods, Apple's new offerings.
Both use the same aluminium unibody casings and have the same curved sides and corners. Apple color choice has changed with Black and Jet Black offerings.
The other major changes is its Home key, which is now a capacitive, touch-sensitive panel rather than a physical button that can perform functions like Touch ID fingerprint scanner.
Dropping your iPhone 7 in the sink won't be the disaster it once was with, thanks to the IP67 water and dust resistance rating for iPhone 7.
According to Display Mate, Apple's 25% increase in brightness and the P3 wide color gamut makes it the best LCD screen it's ever tested.
In terms of Camera, iPhone 7 feature the same 12-megapixel sensor capable of 4K video recording, as in iPhone 6s except the new Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature to combat shaky hands and jolts. The lens is little wider and can let in up to 60 percent more light than on the camera of iPhone 6S.
On the front of both phones, the FaceTime cameras have upgrades to 7MP from 5MP, so selfie fans will be pleased.
The current price of the iPhone 6s (Space Grey, 32 GB) is $549 and the iPhone 7 (Black, 32 GB) price's is $649 on Apple's official website. If you consider the above changes like no headphone jack, finger-print sensor, and better selfie camera worth $100, then you can go for it.
