Fans of "Pitch Perfect 3" are already excited to see the a capella movie return on the big screen. Reports confirmed that the third installment of the movie is expected to be launched in December 2017. Moreover, there are rumors that the cast will be complete with the addition of "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens.

According to HollywoodReport, moviegoers were still singing the tunes of "Pitch Perfect 2" when Universal and Golden Circle announced officially that "Pitch Perfect 3" is coming.

"Given the sequel's massive box-office success, it's little surprise that the studio behind the film waited only a month after "Pitch Perfect 2"'s release to line up the next installment in its a cappella franchise," the report added.

In addition, the Barden Bellas on "Pitch Perfect 3" is reportedly complete. Its lead original members have all signed up for the third installment, including Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld and Anna Camp.

However, plots surrounding the film are being kept under wraps which make fans speculate about the third a Capella installment. It was rumored that there is and additional character to the Barden Bellas and that it will be the "High School Musical" sweetheart, Vanessa Hudgens.

But, there were no confirmation about this, Universal revealed only one detail - "Get ready to have a Merry Pitchmas" - when the studio announced that the film is set to premiere during the year-end holiday season in 2017.

To recall, the movie has changed its release date several times. It was originally slated for July 21, 2017 but then it was pushed back to August 4, 2017 but it was announced by Universal to push the film on a holiday season release of December 22, 2017.

To date, the musical franchise has a global gross of $402 million including the 2012's "Pitch Perfect 1" and 2015's "Pitch Perfect 2". The producers are expecting the "Pitch Perfect 3" will make the same or even surpass the gross income of the previous installment.
