Ubisoft's openworld online multiplayer game "The Division" was reported to be getting its latest DLC called "Survival," but news say that it will be delayed due to necessary fixes that needs to be done first. How long will this delay last?
At its current state, "The Division" has tons of issues and bugs making it less enjoyable for players and these players' number dwindle down overtime. A couple of days ago, an official Ubisoft blogpost indicated that the "Survival" DLC may be pushed back as they need to prioritize fixing the base game first.
The "Survival" DLC will be then pushed back to October this year as priority for the Update 1.4 takes precedence. According to the blog, this will fix a huge number of bugs listed under the known issues backlog.
Loots will also make more sense as enemy difficulty also gets some proper adjustment. Weapon skins will also no longer take inventory space, giving players more storage while collecting as much weapon skin as they want.
The solo player experience will also be getting a treatment as well as the multiplayer Dark Zone and PvP balancing.
The patch is said to be one of the company's biggest update as the DLC had to give way and be delayed for a month.
With this, the other DLC called "Last Stand," which is intended to be the final expansion, could also be pushed back to a further date and speculations lead to its delayed release on 2017 instead.
Even with all these delays, fans still appreciate the fact that before the company releases even more content, it prioritizes fixing the core problems of the game that could also affect the overall experience of the DLCs.
Hopefully, these fixes will complement the two upcoming DLCs and prevent certain players from exploiting the dreaded bugs that shoos away regular and potential new players. This happened before way back April when the bonus content pack was released.
