The quests to evolve Eevee, known as Eievui in Japan, into eight distinctive Pokemon continues. Interestingly, Eevee can either transform into Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Espeon, and Umbreon.

Recently, GamenGuide reported that the mobile game company Niantic is planning to release a new version of "Pokemon GO" in 2017. The update is expected to come with more features and virtual creatures in its arsenal.

With this, it is predicted the new augmented reality game will feature an adjustment in its evolution process. It is believed that Eevee will have two more evolution forms - Espeon and Umbreon.

As of press time, Eevee can just transform into Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. These three evolutions are the result of Eevee being exposed to either a Water Stone, a Thunderstone, or a Fire Stone, respectively.

Though nothing has been set in stone yet, evolving Eevee into Espeon and Umbreon takes more work contrasted with other Pokemon evolutions. To do so, Pokemon trainers should be at a higher player level already. It is worth noting that Espeon and Umbreon's evolutions are also time dependent.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon

Eevee can evolve into Espeon, a lavender-hued feline-like creature, by having a high level of happiness during the day time. Espeon is empowered to see into the future in hope to identify potential dangers. The creature is also described as exceptionally faithful to their owners once they think of them as commendable.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Umbreon

Known as the Moonlight Pokemon, Eevee evolves into Umbreon once it has picked up a complete trust of its trainer around evening time. Umbreon has a tendency to be found in dim places such as thick forests.

It should be noted that both Espeon and Umbreon form are still unavailable as of press time. Nonetheless, among Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon, many publications reported that the fire type is the most powerful Eevee evolution type, while the electric one is said to be the weakest.
