Eevee, known in Japan as Eievui, has three distinctive evolution types in "Pokémon Go." It is said that Eevee's branching evolution setup can transform into a more powerful elemental variants of itself: Water, Fire, and Electric - which are called Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon, respectively.

It was revealed that players can seemingly control the transformation process in a manner that they can pick the resultant character. To begin with, the player needs to catch Eevee, and after that, the said character can be transformed into either Vaporeon, Flareon, or Jolteon.

If the player wants all the three characters of Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon, then they would need to get no less than three Eevees. It is also worth noting that each Eevee evolution costs 25 candy.

The player would need to tap on the pencil icon next to the Pokémon character and give Eevee a nickname of their choice.

Players are tipped to give Eevee as Rainer to evolve into water-type Vaporeon; as Sparky to evolve into lighting type Jolteon and as Pyro to evolve into a fire type Flareon, EuroGamer.net reported. It ought to be noted that once Eevee has evolved, it can no longer advance into a different type.

According to the news outlet, players must ensure that the spelling of the coded nickname is correct and the first character is capitalized. After that, the "Pokémon Go" game app must be restarted to ensure that the changes took effect. The said hack has 100 percent success rate.

In the classic Pokémon games, Eevee can apparently evolve into eight diverse elemental characters relying upon the use of special items, its happiness level and the time of day, as well. Described as a rabbit-eared fennec-like Pokémon with a precarious hereditary code, various Eevee evolutions have been introduced in Pokémon games since, including Umbreon, Leafeon Glaceon, Espeon, and Sylveon.
