Fans may finally be able to get a proper Biker DLC for "Grand Theft Auto V" this month.
This latest rumor stemmed from the discovery of empty scripts in the recent Cunning Stunts update by Twitter user TezFunz2. According to the user, some biker scripts were added to the game after the update.
The user, who is known as Fun de Panda on the GTA Forums, explained that the codes hint a possible Biker-themed update in the near future. The scripts are below.
am_mp_personal_mod_garage
gb_biker_bad_deal
gb_biker_initiation
gb_biker_joust
gb_biker_rescue_contact
gb_vehicle_export
"The ones that start with 'gb' is basically related to CEO or VIP Work/Missions or even a new status to the SecuroServ system," the user explained.
The first script, am_mp_personal_mod_garage, means that garages can be potentially modded when it is added in the game. Scripts that start with 'am_mp' is property related, and means it is something that players can own.
If the rumors are anything to go by, then this will be fantastic news to a lot of players of "GTA Online," especially for those who have been clamoring for this update for a long time.
An online petition is set up for this very reason, for Rockstar Games to finally recognize the biker gangs in the in-game community and add this as an official update in the game.
"We have been ignored long enough, and we feel it's time our needs are respected," the Bikers of GTA Online, which is made up of over 70 biker crews, said on their iPetition page.
"What we ask for, we do not expect for free, as our dedication and love of this game can be portrayed in our willingness to pay for such a long overdue DLC content update for the GTA V online mode," the group added.
The online petition, which started in April 2, has now amassed over 16,000 signatures.
Rumors also claimed that the update will be deployed by Rockstar Games this August, after the latest "GTA V Stunt Race Creator" DLC is launched.
