With its looming release date, "NBA 2K17's" pre-made expansion teams have finally been revealed. To name a few, the said teams include the Kansas City Knights, San Diego Surf, Nashville Stars, Louisville Liberty, and Virginia Storm.
Sonics Rising reported that there are ten pre-made expansion teams incorporated into the upcoming "NBA 2K17" game. It comes with complete logos, arenas, uniforms, and announcers.
However, it remains unclear whether the Seattle SuperSonics are included in the pre-made expansion list. Nonetheless, players have the option to use a Classic Team for their expansion league.
Apparently, players will have the alternative to download custom packs from the NBA 2K servers or personally design their preferred team from top to bottom. The pre-made expansion also accompanies a complete full audio and commentary support.
"We've covered every detail required for a proper league expansion, including player protections, expansion drafts and much, much more,", "NBA 2K17" Senior Producer Erick Boenisch said, as quoted by Design & Trend. "A considerable amount of time was spent this year building an NBA schedule creation tool that dynamically generates balanced schedules with respect to your 31/32/33/32/35/36 team leagues."
"NBA 2K17" was first uncovered in May with the Indiana Pacers' Paul George being the cover athlete for the game's regular edition, while Kobe Bryant for the Legend Edition. The much-anticipated basketball simulation game is expected to contain numerous presentation qualities that are displayed on real-life presentation, such as crowd animations, commentary, post-game shows, halftime, and player animations and among others.
With its growing 36-league, a report from Forbes claimed that an Olympic-style feature or mode will be incorporated into the "NBA 2K17" game. The news outlet stressed that 2K Sports may have included a mode or a content that pays reverence to the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympics, which is scheduled to take place this late spring.
Nonetheless, the said Olympic-style feature must be taken with a grain of salt unless a representative from 2K Sports confirms such claims. "NBA 2K17" will be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Sept. 20.
