The "WWE 2K17" roster is set to be bigger than ever before. Game publisher 2K Sports just announced that the eighteenth game in the WWE game franchise will have a special NXT Edition box.

2K Sports announced the good news through the official website of the wrestling game. It is said that the special edition will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is currently available for pre-order for $100.

The special edition will contain the video game, a Finn Balor figurine with a stature of eight inches, a lithograph signed by Nakamura, a bona fide ring canvas NXT: TakeOver: London, and the Goldberg pre-order pack. It will also contain the NXT Enhancement Pack, which will give players a chance to procure a 50 percent boost in point amid MyCareer.

The said NXT Enhancement Pack will also add three playable NXT superstars, namely, Apollo Crews, Nia Jax, and Shinsuke Nakamura. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players will get the opportunity to enjoy the three playable superstars by purchasing them as downloadable content (DLC) when it launches later this year.

"To me, it's about as in-depth to NXT as you can get," Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H, explained to Gamespot in a conference call, referring to "WWE 2K17's" special edition box. "For our hardcore fan base, our most passionate fans, that's what they want."

Levesque added that fans apparently wanted to follow the strides of the superstar's career paths, as themselves or as that character.

"I think you're going to see NXT become more and more a part of [the 'WWE 2K' series] over the years," he added.

When asked whether the remaining Four Horsewomen - Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte - will show up in "WWE 2K17," Levesque replied earnestly that such characters won't be revealed for now. Nonetheless, he assures fans across the world that they ought to keep an eye for an announcement regarding the Four Horsewomen from 2K Sports in the future.
