The long wait for "No Man's Sky" is finally drawing to a close. The highly anticipated open-world space exploration game will be out really soon, and fans will finally be able to get their hands on this much awaited game.

Here are the things we know about "No Man's Sky" so far.

What Should I Do In "No Man's Sky?"

Apart from the obvious exploration part, players would need to make money to upgrade their ship, allowing them to travel to more planets.

"In terms of exploring, you need to have an upgraded suit to be able to survive in toxic environments and various different types of liquid," Hello Games founder Sean Murray told PC Gamer. "You need an upgraded ship so that you can have a bigger hyperdrive and travel to more far-flung places."

"For all of these things you need money-and you can earn that money as an explorer by exploring. So there's a core loop there." Murray explained.

Are There Any Intelligent Life in "No Man's Sky?"

Yes. Players will be encountering intelligent aliens in the game. The players initially would not have knowledge in alien language, but eventually this can be learned by examining monoliths on the surface of planets.

How Huge Is The "No Man's Sky" Universe?

There will be 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 (yes, that's 18 quintillion) procedurally-generated planets in "No Man's Sky," according to Gamespot. That's pretty huge, considering that the whole game takes up only 6GB on disc.

Is It Purely Online or Can I Play Offline?

"No Man's Sky" can be played offline, PC Gamer confirmed, although players would need to go online to share discoveries.

Would There Be An Actual Story In "No Man's Sky?"

Interestingly, while the game might have its lore, but there will be no actual story in it. There won't be any CGI cutscenes or story narratives.

The universe will finally be in our hands as "No Man's Sky" drops on August 9.
