The release of the latest title in the popular "Monster Hunter" franchise, "Monster Hunter Generations," is just around the corner, and everyone is excited to spend a lot of time hunting and creating items and weapons.
No one, however, can be more excited than series producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto.
In a recent video on the Nintendo UK Youtube Page, Tsujimoto eagerly shares his top two hunting essentials.
First on Tsujimoto's hunting essentials list is, of course, potions. It helps keep players' HP up when attacked by monsters. "So don't forget them, ok?" Tsujimoto told the viewers.
Tsujimoto's second item is a bug net. "'Monster Hunter' is a game where there are a lot of bugs flying around in the stages," the "Monster Hunter" producer said. "and you can catch them and combine them with other things you've gathered to make things that are really handy."
"So, let's pretend that Astalos here is a bug," Tsujimoto demonstrates, catching a small Astalos toy with his makeshift bug net. "You can go pow and catch him!" he said.
Tsujimoto jokingly said that players can't catch monsters with bug nets, so don't even try.
The video is obviously all just for fun, and is used to promote the upcoming release of "Monster Hunter Generations."
Following the success of previous 3DS title "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate," "Monster Hunter Generations" promises to be even more massive, boasting the biggest roster of monsters to date, PC Magazine reported.
The demo will be available on the 3DS eShop on June 30, and will offer three main quests. Players will be able to get a glimpse of the Great Maccao, the Malfestio and the Nargacuga.
There will be 14 weapon types and four Hunting Styles to choose from: Guild, Striker, Aerial and Adept. Players can also choose to play as an adorable Felyne on Prowler Mode.
The hunt continues when "Monster Hunter Generations" hits the Nintendo 3DS on July 15.
