2K Sports recently released a teaser video for the upcoming basketball simulation game, NBA 2K17, which hinted at the possible exceptional features that would be included. The upcoming basketball game is expected to sport most of the features as requested by the gaming community. Will the locker codes system be revived in the latest installment?

"Locker codes are coming back and they are timed locker codes," said the 2K Sports community manager, Ronnie Singh after NBA 2KTV Session 2 Finale, as claimed on YouTube video. "They're user-based. They're actually timed-locker codes. That's what the community wants and that's what's coming to NBA 2K17."

Apart from the locker codes system, the upcoming NBA 2K 17 game will showcase features like signature animations and face scanning application. According to Singh, the signature animations functions would be controlled by using the right stick on the gaming console.

The BitBag reported that the face scanning app will function almost similar to the scanning system in gaming consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. Besides, the upcoming basketball simulation game is also expected to feature Yeezy shoes.

Meanwhile, the game is reported to be made available in three editions, namely the standard edition, Legend edition, and Legend Gold edition. The standard edition of the 2K sports basketball game is slated to feature popular NBA player Kobe Bryant. If the players pre-order the game, then they will receive additional features like 5,000 virtual currencies and a MyTeam bundle with three packs and assured Paul George Free Agent card.

Additionally, the NBA 2K17 game cover will include pictures of star players like Paul George, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Andre Drummond. Sports Rageous reported that one more player will feature in the star players list. But the developers have not revealed anything on the same till now.

The NBA 2K17 simulation-based basketball game is all set to be released on September 20. The standard game edition is reported to be priced for $59.99, the Legend edition for $79.99, and the Legend Gold edition for $99.99. It will be made available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC gaming platforms.
