Ubisoft announced its third new expansion to the open world shooter "Tom Clancy's The Division." The "Underground" DLC which includes four new gear sets, namely B.L.I.N.D., Firecrest, FrontLine, and Reclaimer.
Youtuber Arekkz was able to get a hands-on experience on the latest expansion of "The Division" at Ubisoft's booth at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Arekkz detailed the four gear sets that players can get on this update, VG 24/7 reported.
The first set is called the B.L.I.N.D set. Having two pieces from this set will give players plus 100% Pulse critical hit damage, and adding another one will give plus 100% Blind/Deaf resistance.
Players who have four pieces from this set will activate the "Blind" system, which enables a flashbang effect near a killed enemy. Since the player also has blind resistance, this will give the player a great advantage over those who have a much lower resistance.
The second one is the Firecrest set. Two pieces will give the player plus 3 inciendiary bullets capacity, so players can now carry six bullets instead of only three. Three pieces will give the player plus 100% reload speed.
Having four pieces will grant the user the Firecrest ability, which will grant incendiary bullets for ten seconds after killing a burning target.
The third one is Frontline, which is designed for tanks. Two pieces will give the user plus 300% Ballistic Shield Health, while adding another one will grant plus 100% Ballistic Shield damage resilience.
Four pieces will allow players to use equip an SMG while the Ballistic Shield is deployed, instead of the usual sidearms like a handgun or shotgun.
The final set is called the Reclaimer set, which is good for support roles. Having two pieces of armor from this set will grant plus 100% Support Station speed.
Three pieces will grant plus 50% consumables duration, which means water, energy bars, and even inciendary and explosive bullets will last 50% longer than usual.
Having four pieces of this set will grant the use the Reclaimer perk, which extends the consumables' effects to the entire group. This also does not take up inventory stock, so it's basically free buffs for everyone else in the team.
"Tom Clancy's The Division: Underground 1.3" Update will be released on PC on June 28 and is available for pre-download from June 25. The expansion will hit Playstation 4 and Xbox One on August 2.
