Prior to Microsoft's E3 2016 participation, an image has been leaked that showed the reported slimmer version of Xbox One through a game forum.
On June 12, photo of the speculated console was shared in NeoGAF forums that quickly circulated the Internet. It was previously reported that unnamed sources from Microsoft was planning to launch a revamp version and 40 percent smaller than the current one, reported by Ars Technica.
The image showed that the console dubbed as Xbox One S will be white in color. Further specifications about the device was also revealed such as a 2TB storage size, High Dynamic Range and a 4K playback support.
Meanwhile, the company sources have told Ars technica that the 4K support will only be integrated to its menu system and to future streaming apps to be launched in the future. Fans were speculating that the console's hardware will not be upgraded specifically for 4K.
Based on the leaked image of Microsoft's alleged Xbox One S, it will have a "streamlined controller" and "vertical stand" for its physical design so that it will not be placed horizontally anymore.
Another NeoGAF user identified as Ekim posted a new poster of how the whole console will look like. The source claimed that it will be equipped with a built-in power supply, which will allegedly be the first to be in line compared to its predecessor, according to The Verge.
Although Microsoft hasn't released any statements with regards to the speculations, fans and console players were looking forward to its official launching.
If proven true, it will be the first revision of the console's design but the hardware enhancement was not included. It was reported that throughout Xbox 360's existence, fans have already saw several versions like the Slim, E and the Premium, according to IGN.
Fans have to stay tune for Microsoft's E3 2016 conference tomorrow to know if they will officially introduce the leaked Xbox One S along with its release date for the public.
