The highly-anticipated Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, is just around the corner. With that said, let's round up the latest announcements, rumors and all other E3 2016 goodies we know so far.

Square Enix has released a teaser of what to expect at this year's E3 in a blog post last week. The game developer mentioned some notable titles on their E3 roster, like Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, Deux Ex: Mankind Divided, and I Am Setsuna, along with a few indie titles from the Square Enix Collective. It has also hinted on an 'exciting Tomb Raider news', and more will be revealed on the next blog.

It is also a no-brainer that the latest JRPG Final Fantasy XV will be present at Square Enix's booth at E3, however, fans are still hoping that the game developer giant offers a hint of much awaited games like the Final Fantasy VII remake, NieR: Automata, and Kingdom Hearts 3.

Bethesda also has a few aces up its sleeve as the world premiere of Dishonored 2 gameplay will be revealed at its E3 Showcase this year. Battlecry was also on the confirmed list of titles. However, Bethesda has yet to confirm the rumors about a Doom DLC, or possibly Prey or the sequel to Wolfenstein.

Microsoft has confirmed a few titles on their E3 roster so far. Forza, Halo Wars 2, and Gears of War 4 will all make an appearance. With the release of Halo 5's Forge on the PC, fans are now speculating whether Halo 5 will finally come on the PC as well.

Sony Entertainment has also announced a few notable titles on their E3 list, including the highly anticipated game, The Last Guardian. (Although this would need to be confirmed as IGN reported that Sony has not finalized its titles yet). Fans are still waiting for Sony to announce a new God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and possibly The Last of Us 2.

Atlus will definitely be showcasing their latest JRPG masterpiece Persona 5, which is also highly anticipated. The most awaited game will be released in Japan in September this year, with no news on a North American release yet. Fans are hoping that Atlus will give them a release date on E3.

More will be revealed as E3 draws near. Fans are hoping that some of the rumors will finally be cleared.

Road to E3 2016 Round Up Part 2 will be up tomorrow, and will cover game titles from Nintendo, Capcom, Ubisoft, Activision, and more. Stay tuned.
