Some legal documents from NVIDIA have confirmed the existence of the Nexus 9, revealing that it will indeed come from HTC and launch in the third quarter of this year.

Here's the deal: NVIDIA has recently taken engaged in a legal battle, alleging that both Qualcomm and Samsung are infringing on its GPU patents. The document referencing Google's upcoming Nexus tablet in collaboration with HTC was uncovered by the Bright Side of News, and is basically a corporate confirmation of the Nexus 9. The publication's sources pointed to a revealing sentence in the document, which went unnoticed until now. Mentioning several devices using its Tegra K1, NVIDIA leaks exciting info.

"NVIDIA's new Tegra K1 mobile processor is so powerful it is being used in products other than smartphones and tablets. In other words, NVIDIA not only confirmed the existence of the much-rumored HTC Nexus 9 tablet, but it also revealed that the slate will pack a powerful Tegra K1 processor and it will make its debut very soon.
