The flagship of the new Nokia X family, i.e. the dual-SIM Nokia XL, has hit commercial availability in APAC and IMEA, selling for €109 before local taxes and subsidies.

The Nokia XL is the higher-end model of the Nokia X family, boasting a large 5-inch capacitive touch screen, dual cameras, and more RAM compared to the other models. The smartphone can run Android apps, while also seamlessly combining Nokia apps with the most popular services from Microsoft.

The handset comes pre-loaded with Microsoft OneDrive, so users can easily access their favorite files or photos, as well as the popular Skype, providing a high-quality video chat experience. Nokia is also dedicated to facilitating the transition to a Nokia XL with its neat Contacts Transfer app, which allows users to easily transfer all of their contacts over to the new phone without any hassle.

As expected, the Nokia XL comes with the company's well-known quality build and design, while also boasting a clean, tile-based home screen reminiscent of the popular Lumia family of Windows Phone devices. Users will be able to personalize their home screen by moving the tiles, resizing them, or change their color. Moreover, the smartphone also comes with Fastlane, which makes it easy to seamlessly switch between apps.

All Android apps undergo rigorous quality testing before making it to the Nokia Store, giving users a wide array of high-quality third-party apps to enjoy on their Nokia XL.

As a reminder, the Nokia XL packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, 768MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, a microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 32GB, and a 2,000 mAh battery to keep things up and running. On the software side, the handset ships with the latest Nokia X Platform software.

The Nokia XL is available in six color options: Bright Green, Orange, Cyan, Yellow, Black, and White, and has already gone on sale in APAC and IMEA for roughly €109. As previously mentioned, this price is before local taxes and subsidies. For more information regarding the launch of the new Nokia XL, check out the company's announcement at this link.
