The Samsung Galaxy S5 has leaked extensively as of late and it has now appeared in an intriguing AnTuTu benchmark result revealing some specs.

The next-generation Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphone is expected to come as a top-notch device, boasting exciting specs and features. Recent rumors have indicated that the new flagship will finally sport a metal body instead of the usual plastic design found on Galaxy smartphones so far. Moreover, reports have also suggested that the purported Galaxy S5 will rock a whopping 2k display.

Early leaks and rumors, however, can prove to be inaccurate, as specs and features are always subject to change during the testing phase of a device. In other words, the final product is not always as it appears in various stages of development.

The latest leak now comes from famous Android benchmarking tool AnTuTu. The suite's benchmark database apparently shows what seem to be the purported specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S5. A device with model number SM-G900F, which has surfaced previously and is believed to be for the Galaxy S5, appears in AnTuTu benchmarks with high-end specifications that would make it worthy of a flagship title.

The AnTuTu test scores show that the device got 23,436 in one run and 29,223 in another. The different scores indicate that the device is still in the testing phase and is being optimized.

According to the details found in the AnTuTuu benchmarks, the device is set to rock Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and pack a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM890AC processor clocked at 2.4GHz, paired with Adreno 330 graphics. These internals would make the device as powerful as the Galaxy Note 3, but the Galaxy S5 was rumored to pack a Samsung 64-bit processor.

The display listed in these benchmarks doesn't fall in line with previous reports either. While rumors have suggested a 2K display, the device is listed with a full HD 1080p display on AnTuTu. Other specs revealed in these results include 32GB of internal storage capacity, 3GB of RAM, and a high-end 16-megapixel camera.

Keep in mind, however, that nothing is for certain until Samsung makes an official announcement regarding its next-generation flagship smartphone. We'll make sure to keep you up to date as soon as we hear more about the purported Samsung Galaxy S5.
