The Sprint HTC One is now available for just $0.01, its lowest price ever, when purchased with a two-year contract from Amazon.

The retailer notes that this is a limited-time promotion, but does not mention when it will end. Consequently, HTC fans who would like to take advantage of this offer may want to hurry and get it while it lasts.

The HTC One is one of the best Android smartphones currently available on the market. Its high-end hardware specifications combined with its elegant, aluminum unibody casing received high praise and the smartphone stirred quite some interest.

High-end smartphones, however, usually come with a price to match, but Amazon is now running a very enticing promotion. The retailer is offering the HTC One for just one penny for a limited time, provided that interested customers agree to a standard two-year contract with Sprint. While other retailers have offered various promotions, the HTC One never sported such a low price tag until now.

For those unfamiliar with the handset, the HTC One sports a 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 full HD (1080p) display that is also scratch-resistant to increase durability. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. The HTC One shipped with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, but is slated to receive an update to the latest Android 4.3 soon.

Other specs of the HTC One include 32GB of internal storage capacity, an HTC UltraPixel rear camera with HTC Zoe support and dedicated HTC ImageChip, 1080p video recording capability and 88 wide-angle lens with HDR capability. The smartphone also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 902.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS.

Audiophiles, meanwhile, praised the HTC One for its dual front-facing stereo speakers with HTC BoomSound and built-in amplifiers with Beats Audio.

Interested smartphone shoppers can head over to Amazon and get the Sprint HTC One for just $0.01 on a two-year contract. Amazon is also offering free two-day shipping with each order. Keep in mind, however, that it's a limited-time offer that may expire at any point.
