The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has just leaked again, this time posing for the camera next to the current Galaxy Note 2.

With only a few days left until the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 3 makes its official debut on Sept. 4 at the company's unpacked event, the phablet has now leaked in a new image comparing it to the Galaxy Note 2. This side-by-side comparison aims to paint a picture of the new phablet's size and the differences compared to its predecessor.

While Samsung did its best to keep things under wraps ahead of the big unveiling, some leaks still managed to show the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 before the event. The latest leaked image shows a 5.68 display surrounded by an ultra-thin bezel, compared to the Galaxy Note 2's 5.5-inch display.

The image also shows the upcoming phablet is slightly taller to accommodate the larger display, but there's no striking difference compared to the Galaxy Note 2. The two phablets seem to have roughly the same width, as the Galaxy Note 3 has a bigger display but with a thinner bezel, measuring just 2.2mm.

Moreover, the next-generation Samsung Galaxy Note phablet seems to sport a very similar display to the company's current Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone, as Samsung has recently adopted a more uniformed design for all its smartphones and tablets.

The upcoming Galaxy Note 3 is expected to ship in two variants, one with Samsung's octa-core Exynos processor and the other with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz. The phablet will reportedly sport a 1920 x 1080 Full HD display and rock the newest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz Nature UX on top.

Samsung's impending phablet is also expected to come in 32GB and 64GB versions, sport the same 13-megapixel rear camera found on the Galaxy S4 and include enhanced S-Pen functionality. The Galaxy Note 3 will reportedly come with a large removable battery and a micro SD slot for additional memory.

Samsung has already confirmed that it will unveil its new Galaxy Note 3, as well as its first smartwatch, dubbed the Galaxy Gear, on Sept. 4, so it will all become official soon enough.
