So many rumors about upcoming smartphones were there on the Internet this entire week. Tech news websites and rumors sources were busy getting details about iPhone 5S, a low-cost iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and couple of tablets also from Samsung.
However, as the week came to end, Samsung grabbed headlines for its rumored smaller version of Galaxy S4.
Pictures of allegedly Samsung smartphone have appeared on a Twitter account and the user of the account claims them to be of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
According to the pictures, first spotted on SamMobile, the Galaxy S4 Mini might be seen between June and July this year. The smartphone may come with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display with 256ppi pixel density. The Galaxy S4 Mini will be powered by a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Design-wise the phone does look like a smaller version of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S4 and the thickness also suggests the same.
So far Samsung has not confirmed anything about this smaller version of Galaxy S4; however, the company has always been very secretive about its upcoming devices and has never said anything before the actual launch of the device.
Earlier rumors about the Galaxy S4 Mini suggested that the devices will be seeing the light of day somewhere in the month of May.
The rumors said that accessories of the S4 Mini need to be done by week 21 that falls in the month of May.
If the Galaxy S4 Mini comes in the market in June or July, the release will coincide with the release of Apple's iPhone 5S.
Amit Daryanani of RBC Capital Markets in his note to investors stated yesterday that as per his information Apple is going to launch 'multiple new phones' this year and the release of the more developed version of the present iPhone 5 as iPhone 5S will fall between June and July this year.
