The rumors about the release of Motorola's rumored smartphone, X phone, are suggesting different dates and no one is clear as to when the device will appear for a demonstration.
Earlier rumors, which were suggesting Google I/O as the release platform for the 'superphone,' have now started going down as the month of July is being touted as the release date in new rumors.
At the same time, the X phone is once again rumored to be coming with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. The phone coming with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie looks highly possible now with some Internet sources confirming the possibilities of Samsung's devices getting the Key Lime Pie update after the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
According to a SamMobile report, these are the Samsung devices that are listed for the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie:
GT-I9300 - Galaxy S3
GT-I9305 - Galaxy S3 LTE
GT-I9500 - Galaxy S4
GT-I9505 - Galaxy S4 LTE
GT-N5100 - Galaxy Note 8.0
GT-N5105 - Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE
GT-N5110 - Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi
GT-N7100 - Galaxy Note2
GT-N7105 - Galaxy Note2 LTE
GT-N8000 - Galaxy Note 10.1
GT-N8005 - Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE
GT-N8010 - Galaxy Note 10.1 Wi-Fi
With lists of devices coming out, release of the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie looks highly possible during this year's Google I/O to be held in May.
However, the X phone is also rumored to be coming with touch sensitive buttons. Some reports on the Web go a way ahead and say that the X phone is not a single device but a full series a number of smartphones like Motorola's DROID series.
Whatever the phone is all about there is a big question mark on the very existence of the device or let's say the series of smartphones. Even if the phone does exist in the manufacturing units of Motorola Mobility, the release in the month of May or July is completely exaggerated.
