The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue is an Android Jelly Bean tablet poised to hit stores soon, and now it's leaked ahead of launch.

Android tablets soared to tremendous success recently, and may even dethrone Apple's almighty iPad soon. A slew of Android tablets are already available on the market, but the trend seems to keep going. Huawei is reportedly joining the fray with a new MediaPad 7 Vogue Android tablet.

The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue will reportedly be available in two versions, but for now the two models seem quite similar. According to newly leaked information from what seems to be the DLNA certification process, the MediaPad 7 Vogue will pack either a 1.2GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processor or a 1.5GHZ ARM Cortex A9 processor. It remains unclear why two processors are apparently features for the same tablet, especially since both are quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processors.

Other specs and features include a 7-inch display (hence the MediaPad 7 name) with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, Wi-Fi HDMI support, DLNA and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The description of the leaked DLNA screenshot not only claims the tablet will be available in two versions, but that it will also have three sub-models. It all sounds quite confusing for now, but things will likely get clearer when Huawei eventually makes an official announcement.

The potential successor to the MediaPad Lite made its leaked debut on Twitter via DLNA and notorious tipster @evleaks. The leaked certification is dated Feb. 22, 2013, which might mean the device may be heading to store shelves soon.

On the other hand, this is just a leak and Huawei did not announce nor confirm anything officially, so take it with a pinch of salt. The leak does not mention any release date or price for the MediaPad 7 Vogue tablet.

No other details are available for now, but the leaked image and product specifications seem promising. Should this prove to be true, Huawei will unleash its MediaPad 7 tablet in an already crowded 7-inch tablet market. If the slate sports an attractive price, however, it might make some waves.
