Samsung has released the second teaser video for its upcoming Galaxy S4 flagship Android-based smartphone. The handset is set to debut this Thursday at a press conference dubbed "Samsung Unpacked."
The video carries on the same storyline as the first teaser video, showing a boy tasked with keeping what is inside the Samsung box a secret. The video does not carry the same amount of excitement as the first: it shows little Jeremy entering his home while his neighbor, Jane, tries to find out what could be inside the box. It is apparent Jane is going to be a handful for Jeremy as he tries to keep secret of the contents inside the little white box.
After entering his room, Jeremy's mother gives him cookies and he quickly puts the box in hiding. As soon as his mother leaves, he picks up the box, opens it and utters, "It's my favorite color," suggesting the Samsung Galaxy S4 might very well have a variety of color options. This has become popular in recent devices; Nokia has been doing it with Windows Phone devices, as well as HTC and others.
We haven't seen many Android manufacturers offering different colored devices, Samsung could make this a thing for Android with the Galaxy S4. Thursday should be an interesting treat for Samsung and Android fans, when the mobile tech world will stand still.
Recent rumors about the Galaxy S4 suggest the device could have a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED display, 16-64GB models, an Exynos Octa 5410 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and 2GB of RAM.
