The long wait of Samsung Galaxy S3 owners on U.S. Cellular has finally come to an end. U.S. cellular has started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jeally Bean update of Samsung Galaxy S3, and the new firmware is available for an over-the-air (OTA) update.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update baseband number R530UVXMB1 can also be downloaded directly from Samsung's official website and flashed on to the device through a PC.

"Android 4.1, Jelly Bean has new features and innovations to deliver a faster, smoother and more natural smartphone experience. You'll experience easier device personalization; enhanced communications and camera experiences; more powerful search features; and a more intuitive interface that helps you and your device work smarter, not harder," a U.S. Cellular releases states.

According to U.S. Cellular, the update also fixes the voice and sound related problems in the Samsung Galaxy S3. "The newest Samsung Galaxy S III update is here! Get the latest version of Jelly Bean 4.1.2 for your device. And were you someone who was streaming videos and experiencing audio issues? Well, this update will solve that also," U.S. Cellular claims.

Apart from this the update also has so many other features in it.
