More zombie shooting action is on the cards for all 'Resident Evil' fans.
Per reports, Capcom has revealed that the company's upcoming survival horror title 'Resident Evil: Revelations' will be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on May 24.
"I think we're all in agreement that RE Revelations was pretty darn good, right? A little slice of horror, a bit of action, a claustrophobic cruise ship filled with nasty baddies intent on sucking your guts outta your face - y'know, typical Resident Evil stuff," the official Capcom page writes. "But last year only 3DS owners could play the game and its co-op Raid Mode, so while it was well received, many of you had to sit and watch. But no more!"
This new version of 'Revelations' will arrive with enhanced HD graphics and lighting, a new enemy, a new harder difficulty, new Raid weapons, Raid Mode co-op and new Custom Parts. There's also a new character called Hunk who will be playable in the Raid Mode. Hunk will arrive with his "unique gas mask chic to the Queen Zenobia cruise ship and other Revelations locales."
'Resident Evil: Revelations' offers a brand new storyline and a new level of tension and intrigue. The game has a brand new setting that delivers a more nervous and interesting gameplay experience than any Resident Evil to date, per the company.
"The action bridges the gap between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, unveiling new adventures for Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. Jill and her new partner, Parker Luciani, have been sent on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship in the Mediterranean, to search for Chris Redfield, based on his last known GPS coordinates," says the official page. "Far from being empty, the ship hides danger around every corner as Jill and Parker explore the confined space of the ship and must face a menacing new horror that emerges from the darkness."
The game, first released on Nintendo 3DS, was brought into contention for a console and PC remake earlier this month when the game's achievements list for Xbox 360 was revealed listing the game's full title as 'Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition.'
