As the International CES 2013 progresses, more rumors about the upcoming smartphones from different companies come out. Though the rumor market's most of the share goes to giants like Apple and Samsung, HTC cannot be ignored at this point of time.
The latest rumor about HTC's upcoming device - M7 - is that the device will feature HTC Sense 5.0 as its graphical user interface.
Recently posted alleged leaked shots of HTC M7 show the updated lockscreen and more scope for tweaks to HTC apps.
Earlier rumors say that the phone will mostly look like HTC Droid DNA and the body material will also be the same.
As far as the operating system is concerned, HTC M7 is rumored to be running on Android 4.1.2 right now, but at the time of release it will come with Android 4.2.
The leaked shot from Weibo posted by Pocket Now shows the Settings option of the HTC M7. The Settings option of the Sense 5.0 looks clean but at the same time it has new icons and the new switch toggles which users will have to get familiar with.
The phone was rumored to be getting release at the CES 2013, however, since we have got no news about HTC M7's release, we will have to wait for some more until HTC announces the official release date.
HTC M7's is rumored be to feature a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The connectivity options of the phone include LTE and Wi-Fi with 802.11ac support, with speeds up to three times that of 802.11n. The device's camera can be a key to success for HTC it might come with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. Both the cameras are capable of recording full-HD video.
The phone is currently being tested on Sprint's LTE network.
