'Grand Theft Auto' fans on Android have some major good news to look forward to at the start of a new year. Per reports, the highly popular 'Grand Theft Auto 3' for Android has received a brand new update, bumping the game's recent version to 1.3.
Apart from the usual bug fixes that have arrived alongside the new update, the GTA update also expands the game's compatibility to ASUS' Eee Pad Transformer Prime and the Medion Lifetab. It also adds support for Gamestop's wireless game controller, and more enhanced controls for other gamepads, and even Sony's Xperia Play.

The 'Grand Theft Auto 3' for Android currently offers visually spectacular updated graphics, along with character and vehicle models, with HD quality resolution. The gameplay is also optimized for touch screen devices, and there are custom controls available for the mobile platform.
Moreover, the game offers countless hours of gameplay with gamepad support for select USB controllers. The game also supports a host of languages like English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese.
