Apple continues to push the boundaries of innovation with the rollout of new beta versions of iOS 18 and iOS 18 across its operating systems. Aside from the iPhone, this would be available on iPad and Mac devices.
What are the new features we need to see here?
Apple's iOS 18, currently in its sixth beta iteration, introduces a variety of updates designed to refine the overall functionality and usability of iPhones, according to GSM Arena.
Set for public release in September, iOS 18 brings significant changes that both developers and early testers are exploring.

One of the features you need to check in iOS 18 beta 6 is the addition of a dedicated Bluetooth toggle in the Control Center.
Previously, Bluetooth could only be controlled through the combined Connectivity widget, which also included options like Airplane Mode and Wi-Fi. This new, separate toggle offers users more direct access to their Bluetooth settings, streamlining the connectivity process.
The Photos app has undergone a subtle yet impactful redesign in iOS 18 beta 6. The Albums Collection interface now features a clear card layout, each with a prominent thumbnail image. This change enhances the visual organization of albums, making it easier for users to navigate and manage their photo collections.
In response to user feedback, iOS 18 beta 6 improves how app icons are displayed in notifications when Dark Mode is enabled. Now, icons will correctly reflect their Dark Mode variants, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing experience across the system.
iOS 18.1, currently in its second beta, is exclusively available to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users. This version introduces the first wave of Apple Intelligence features, designed to enhance device performance and user interaction.
Building on the updates in iOS 18, iOS 18.1 beta 2 continues to refine the Photos app. The latest beta removes the Carousel view, which had been a staple feature for organizing and viewing images. Additionally, the All Photos grid has been tweaked for better usability, providing a more streamlined way to browse through extensive photo libraries.
A notable addition in iOS 18.1 beta 2 is the Distraction Control feature, first introduced in iOS 18 beta 5. This tool allows users to block distracting elements on web pages, such as sign-in popups and content overlays, providing a cleaner and more focused browsing experience in Safari.
In both iOS 18 and iOS 18.1 betas, Apple has made subtle yet meaningful changes to the Music app and Control Center. The "Browse" tab in Apple Music has been renamed to "New," aligning with the app's focus on fresh content and updates. Additionally, iOS 18.1 beta 2 includes the same Bluetooth toggle introduced in iOS 18 beta 6, further simplifying user controls.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple has also enhanced the tinting options for Home Screen and Lock Screen icons in both iOS 18 and iOS 18.1. These settings are now linked with the color of the wallpaper, providing a more cohesive and customizable aesthetic.
The update also ensures that Microsoft apps and the Instagram icon properly reflect Dark Mode settings, offering a consistent look across all applications.
With these updates, the Cupertino giant continues to lead the way in delivering a seamless and intuitive user experience, setting the stage for the official release later this year.
