Trainers across the globe are gearing up for the much awaited "Aquatic Paradise" event of "Pokémon GO" to be held from July 6 to July 9. As part of this event, the worldwide debut of Shiny Ducklett will happen along with the improvements and novelties of "Pokémon GO" inspired by the "Pokémon GO" Fest New York 2024.
Global Debut of Shiny Ducklett
The arrival of Shiny Ducklett to "Pokémon GO," a rare and sought-after variation that trainers will be able to obtain, is the main attraction of the Aquatic Paradise event. Shiny Ducklett is distinguished by its unique blue and white hue. This debut follows Ducklett's initial release during "Pokémon GO's" fourth anniversary celebrations, with its evolution, Swanna, also accessible through evolution mechanics in the game.
Expanded Pokémon Availability Inspired by GO Fest
Inspired by the diverse habitats showcased at "Pokémon GO" Fest New York 2024, the Aquatic Paradise event will feature Pokémon typically found in the Poolside Cabana Habitat. Starting shortly after the New York event from July 5 to July 7, these Pokémon will be available globally, enhancing the variety of encounters for players worldwide.
Trainers can expect increased spawns of Water-type Pokémon, including:
Horsea
Staryu
Wingull
Corphish
Clamperl
Ducklett
Frillish
There is also the possibility of encountering Shiny versions of these creatures.
Exciting Bonuses and Challenges
During the event, trainers will enjoy a range of bonuses designed to enrich their gameplay experience. Incense will play a crucial role, offering exclusive encounters with Pokémon such as:
Shellder
Lapras
Finneon
Frillish
Some of these Pokémon may also appear in their Shiny forms. Additionally, trainers will earn double XP for every Pokémon caught, providing a valuable opportunity to level up quickly and earn rewards.
Engaging Activities for Trainers
The Aquatic Paradise event isn't just about catching Pokémon--it also includes engaging activities to keep trainers immersed in the adventure. A themed Collection Challenge will task trainers with capturing specific Pokémon during the event period. Completion of this challenge will reward trainers with additional Pokémon encounters and other valuable rewards, encouraging participation and exploration.
Timed Research and Field Challenges
For those looking for structured challenges, "Pokémon GO" will offer both Timed Research and Field Research tasks during the Aquatic Paradise event. Field Research tasks will provide opportunities to encounter Pokémon such as:
Corphish
Clamperl
Finneon
Frillish
A dedicated Timed Research quest, priced at $1.99 USD or its equivalent, will, in the meantime, concentrate on investigating various facets of the occasion and award trainers with Ducklett encounters, Lucky Eggs for experience multipliers, Incense for improved encounters, and Ducklett Candy to support Pokémon evolution and strengthening.
The Aquatic Paradise event will be quite entertaining to "Pokémon GO" trainers globally adding Shiny Ducklett in the mix, not to mention the other bonuses and tasks as well.
From catching new Pokémon, to performing field research, to simply enjoying the better experience in the game, trainers will be able to look forward to this event which shall prove as an exciting part of their Pokémon trips.
