Xiaomi is said to be prepping up for a Ceramic variant for the latest Mi6. Aside from the Silver Mi6, the company's flagship smartphone for this year is set to have an aesthetic upgrade.

As good news as it could be for Xiaomi fans, however, everyone must know that he said the Mi6 Ceramic variant will only be available in limited quantity. Although the company's upgrade on design might be a factor for a better sales outcome, still there are a lot of things that take a lot of considerations. That is why the production of Ceramic variant for initial supply run is only limited. This information was supported by Pan Jiutang who posted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo.

Jiutang said the Ceramic Xiaomi Mi6 variant will be sold in small quantity initially and when it is already available in the mobile phone market, it will be tagged with a higher price than the usual, Wccftech reported. The Ceramic variant and even the Silver edition of Xiaomi Mi6 are both appealing to the mobile phone users, most especially those who want a combination of high-end performance and chic design for their devices. It is perceived that this setback might actually be a benefit for the company.

Talking about Xiaomi Mi6's specifications, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and will come with a 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB internal storage capacities. Both the Silver and Ceramic version will not have an expandable storage. It is a wiser choice to grab a device with 128GB internal storage for the capacity to store more files. Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to have a 5.15-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, run by Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Andreno 540 GPU.

Its primary camera features will include a dual 12MP with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash while the secondary camera is 8MP. It will also have a fingerprint sensor mounted on the front of the device and battery capacity of 3350mAh. Xiaomi did not express if the production quantity will be increased and the exact volume or number of units that will be available for the initial supply run.
