Despite not having been officially announced just yet, the highly anticipated sequel to Xiaomi's revolutionary Mi Mix smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, has now been spotted on the online retail website, GearBest. After having wowed the world with its bezel-less display on the top three corners, fans are now eagerly waiting for Xiaomi's next surprise for the device's upcoming follow-up.

According to GSM Arena, the listing on the retail website could very well be just a placeholder for the device until it is made official. However, the specs that are listed are still quite interesting.

Fans would likely also immediately notice that the image that is placed on the listing is unfortunately just a render of the supposed device. The display apparently takes up the entire front side of the device, which is very unlikely given that there will be no place to put the front facing camera. It is very unlikely for Xiaomi to omit the front facing camera, which has become a standard for all smartphones in the past couple of years.

While the RAM and memory configurations will likely be accurate, some of the specs posted on the listing are somewhat questionable. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is listed to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is likely possible since the chip is the same one that is found on the recently unveiled Xiaomi Mi 6 and the Mi 6 Plus. The device is also revealed to be coming with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,540 x 1,440-pixel resolution.

The listing claims that Mi Mix 2 will have a camera setup that is comprised of a 19-megapixel sensor at the back and a 13-megapixel sensor up front. This clearly shows that the Mi Mix 2 will have a front-facing camera, which means that a full nothing-but-display front is very unlikely. As for the other features, the device is shown to have a 4,500 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, and an Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI 9 on top.
