The original HP Spectre x360 was very well received when it hit the store shelves back in 2015, and tech enthusiasts found last year's model even more appealing. No prizes for guessing, the lauded device is all set to sweep gadget freaks off their feet once again, retaining almost everything they loved about it.
Given the upgrades to what many deemed as high-end convertible laptops, this year's model is expected to up the ante. Here's a rundown on the specs and features the 2017 model of the HP Spectre x360 is expected to come with.

Aside from keeping much of what fans liked about the gadget, HP has beefed up the 2017 iteration of the HP Spectre X360 with a slew of awe-inspiring changes including a new cosmetic appearance, and an uber sharp 4K touch screen. Also, the new HP Spectre x360 13 comes with the UHD display and has USB-C with Thunderbolt 3, paired with ample fast SSD (solid-state drive) storage, PC Mag reported. Now, the HP Spectre x360 (2017) also flaunt a faddish new color scheme in style.
The latest version of HP Spectre x360 did not oust the slim form factor of its predecessor. The new model strikes a perfect balance between the device's slim shape and its HP Spectre 13-esque stylish aesthetic.
The device is housed in a modern anodized aluminum body with steely gray and copper color scheme. The device's chassis was chiseled out of robust aluminum using a precision manufacturing method and finished with a perfect blend of brushed aluminum body and well-executed accents, according to the HP Spectre x360's description on the company's official website.
With the new Spectre x360 model, HP solved a couple of long-reigning problems with its predecessor. First off, last year's Spectre x360 did not offer support for the pen, and it didn't offer the option for a screen with a resolution higher than 1080p.
The Spectre x360 13 is highly portable and quite slim. The same was true for its original model, and the device has only become slimmer from there. While the 2015 model measured 0.63 (H) X 12.79 (W) X 8.6 inches (D), and weighed in at 3.26 pounds, last year's model was 0.5 X 12 X 8.6 inches and weighed 2.8 pounds. The 2017 model of the Spectre x360 is minimally slender at 0.5 by 12 by 8.5 inches and 2.8 pounds.

The 13.3-inch HP Spectre is quite fast. It packs the 2.7GHz Core i7-7500U processor, 512GB SSD drive coupled with 16GB of memory. According to the device's listing on Best Buy, the Spectre x360 will be up for grabs in two models. Aside from the aforesaid 512GB version, which will be up for grabs for $1,099.99, there's a 256GB model, which sells for $927.99.
