Convertible laptops or 2-in1 laptops are very common nowadays, with some computer manufacturing companies producing their own devices to compete with others. With the wide variety of 2-in1 laptops available on the market, the HP Spectre 13 laptop is probably one of the best options, sources claim.
The HP Spectre 13 is a 13.3-inch 2-in-1 laptop. However, compared to other similar machines, this HP's laptop can literally convert into a tablet with its removable keyboard, unlike the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop.
Aside from its removable keyboard, other advantages of the HP Spectre 13 are it has full HD 13.3-inch diagonal edge-to-edge IPS display, covered with tough Corning Gorilla Glass which is a very rare feature. The HP Spectre 13 physical properties are also claimed as the company's ace from their competitors. It has a svelte aluminum body that is just over 1cm thick, which is as described by HP, "the thickness of an AAA battery." Despite of its thin size, it has an impressive battery performance which lasts up to 9.5 hours.
Thin laptops normally encounter specific problems due to its size, like internal hardware and ports. With the HP Spectre 13, they used USB Type-C ports instead of the USB 3.0 ports.
Meanwhile, the performance of the HP Spectre 13 could not compete with other high-end desktop computers when it comes to gaming, but it's quite impressive for its preferred use. The HP Spectre 13 2-in-1 laptop was released in July 2016 and is currently being sold for $1,440.
