The Acer Swift 7 is considered as one of the thinnest laptops in the market. Along with the MacBook and HP Spectre 13, the Acer's latest laptop is now competing for the thinnest, but more efficient portable computers.

Not considering the MacBook, the Acer Swift 7 has a 10mm thickest point that surpasses the HP Spectre 13's 10.4mm. Aside from its thin frame, the Swift 7 also offers an elegant look and design. The combination of its black color lid and golden keyboard deck gives the device a classy look.

Despite its thinness, the Acer laptop manages to squeeze in an Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor with 256 SSD and 8GB of RAM. The Acer Swift 7 also uses a low-power version of the processor to keep heat emission and battery usage minimal, and also a slim SSD.

As reported by Livemint, the Swift 7 specifications are not very powerful, but can still handle a considerable amount of multitasking. For the display, the Acer Swift 7 has a good display size of 13.3 inch IPS display with 1920x1080 maximum resolution. Minimal screen reflection and bright colors also give users a good screen display. The overall design, look and size of the device prove to be very satisfactory.

However, the laptop also has its disadvantages. The device performance is considerably above average, but because of its thin size the performance of its battery is compromised. With heavy use, the battery will discharge after only 3 to 4 hours. The HP Spectre 13, which is the Swift 7's closest competitor, will last up to 5 hours of heavy use.
