Looks like Sony Mobile is on a roll! The Japanese handset maker has recently launched a few awe-inspiring smartphones. Let's take a gander at the details of Sony's recently debuted smartphones.

After making its first appearance alongside a bunch of other Sony mid-range smartphones including the XA1 Ultra, Xperia XZs, Xperia XZ Premium during the recently concluded MWC (Mobile World Congress), the Sony Xperia XA1 has hit the store shelves in Hong Kong.

Sony Xperia XA1 & The Xperia XZs: Launch In India, Specs & Other Details

Sony Xperia XA1: Smartphone enthusiasts looking to get their hands on the Xperia XA1 smartphone would have to shell out HK$2,498, which converts to about $321 USD. The handset will be up for grabs in various color options including White, Black, Gold, and Pink. While Sony launched the Xperia XZs smartphone in India on Monday, April 3 in an exclusive event that took place in New Delhi, the company has not yet divulged details about its plan to launch the Xperia XA1 in the country.

The Xperia XA1 boasts a 5-inch display with 720x1280 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection atop the screen. A MediaTek Helio P20 Octa Core 64bit (Quad core 2.3GHz + Quad core 1.6GHz) processor will be firing up the Xperia XA1, under the hood with 3GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of expandable (up to 256GB via micro SD card slot) internal storage, according to a blog post on Sony Mobile's official website.

The Xperia XA1 features a 23MP rear camera equipped with 1/2.3" Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, LED flash, 5x Clear Image Zoom, Hybrid Autofocus and an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calling. The device runs Android N mobile OS (operating system).

The device packs a 2300mAh battery with Quick Charging support. In terms of connectivity, the Dual-SIM smartphone offers NFC, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi Miracast, A-GNSS (GPS + GLONASS), and 4G. The Sony Xperia XA1 measures 145 x 67 x 8 mm and weighs in at 143 grams.

Sony Xperia XZs: The smaller sibling of the Xperia XZ smartphone dubbed, the Sony Xperia XZs sports a 5.2-inch full-HD Triluminos display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The device offers a single-SIM slot and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Sony may decide to come out with a dual-SIM variant in India, according to Gadgets 360.

Furthermore, the Xperia XZs packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU and a considerable 4GB of RAM. The device will be available in two models i.e. 32GB and 64GB of inbuilt expandable storage of up to 256GB (via microSD slot).

On the photography front, the Sony Xperia XZs smartphone sports a 19MP Motion Eye camera decked with a 1/ 2.3-inch Exmor RS memory stacked sensor with predictive hybrid autofocus -- which comes in handy when capturing 960fps super slow motion videos. It comes with a mammoth 13MP front snapper, which is equipped with a 22mm wide-angle lens, and a f/2.0 aperture.

The Xperia XZs is juiced by a 2900mAh battery, and it measures 146x72x8.1 mm and weighs in at 161 grams. In terms of connectivity, the device offers USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

The sensors on the Sony Xperia XZs comprise a proximity sensor, magnetometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer. The device was launched in three color options including Blue, Warm Silver and Black.
