Indian smartphone enthusiasts, who have restlessly been waiting to get their hands on Xiaomi's Redmi Note 4, will soon have something to cheer about.
By allowing consumers to pre-order the Redmi Note 4, the Beijing-based handset maker warrants the device's availability for those who pre-book it even if the handset runs out of stock in a sale. The pre-order kicked off Friday, March 31 at 12 pm IST, and the popular smartphone will go on sale Thursday, April 6 via Mi.com website.

Pre-ordering the Redmi Note 4 is quite an easy task. Simply create a Mi.com login or sign in if you already have your account and password. It's worth noting that you have to make an online payment as with pre-order, there is no COD (cash on delivery) option. The phone will be shipped within five days after a pre-booking order is placed, according to TheIndianExpress.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be up for grabs in different models. A variant of the Redmi Note 4 with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage will sell for INR 9,999 (about $154), while the 32GB storage version will carry a price tag o INR 10,999 (about $169). There's one more version of the Redmi Note 4 which packs 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and consumers will have to shell out INR 12,999 (about $200) to get their hands on it.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) curved-glass IPS display with a pixel density of 401 PPI (pixel per inch). A Snapdragon 625 SoC will be firing up the dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The upcoming smartphone will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 atop.
On the photography front, the Redmi Note 4 will boast a 13MP, rear-mounted CMOS sensor, equipped with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), 77-degree wide angle lens, a f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash, Gadgets360 reported.
The Redmi Note 4's front snapper is a 5MP CMOS sensor, which is paired with an 85-degree wide angle lens. The device supports microSD cards up to 128GB and expandability through a hybrid dual-SIM card configuration.
