Facebook previously made their Facebook Live feature available to its social media network's users last year. However, the live streaming functionality was only made available to those who were using the mobile and tablet versions of their website. Now, the company has announced an update to Facebook Live that would finally let users use the feature with their desktop computers.

So, if you like to watch esport you should keep an eye to the esport calendar that you can find on esportsguide.com.

According to GSM Arena, the update itself will now allow users to use their desktops to broadcast their live streams. The use of a more powerful system will have a myriad of advantages as it will allow for more options and customization when streaming live to audiences.

Using a desktop PC or Mac will allow broadcasters to include a professional camera and audio setup that will be perfect for professional content types such as interviews, Vlogs, tutorials, live streaming events, and training videos. Additionally, the functionality has also been extended to personal profiles. Before the update, third party streaming software and external hardware inputs were only available for Facebook Pages, but that is not the case anymore.

The Facebook Live feature has also been bolstered with additional customization options, which will include users now being able to insert graphics, switch cameras, plug in professional equipment, and even share their screens during a live broadcast. This will be particularly useful for live gaming streams and how-to videos, where users will be able to interact with viewers while they play their games or show audiences certain processes.

To use the new Facebook Live function on desktops, users simply have to click on Live Video on their News Feed or Timeline to start the process. The live streaming video can also be edited with a specific title and description. Users can also select and limit the audiences that will be able to view the live feed, which will be useful for sharing a live broadcast to specific Pages, Groups, or Events within Facebook.
